Refund Policy

You may receive a total refund of any monies for furnishings purchased online or in store, only if you cancel the sale within 48 hours of the date of purchase. If you charge your purchase, we will credit your charge account. All other refunds will be made by check and mailed from our main office.  If you do not cancel the sale within 48 hours, only 80% of the purchase price will be refunded to you. No refunds are available and sales cannot be cancelled after merchandise has been delivered. Special orders cannot be refunded. If you received your order by UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS and the merchandise was damaged in shipping or if you wish to return it, please call customer service within 48 hours at 954-432-6826. Our customer service department will then determine the appropriate action. This may include a replacement, repair or full refund of the item. 

Furniture Delivery

Your furniture is delivered from our truck to the inside of your home. Merchandise is delivered in factory-packed cartons. Partial assembly may be required by the purchaser. All merchandise comes with instructions, necessary hardware and tools. Furniture assembly is not included in delivery cost and must be requested at time of purchase, a separate assembly fee will apply.  

Consumer Safety Alert: Serious or fatal injuries can occur from furniture tip-over. To help prevent tip-over please use restraints that are provided by anchoring from the wall to the back of furniture. The use of the restraint will reduce but may not eliminate the risk of tip-over. The installation of restraints provided are the sole responsibility of the consumer.

Pickup Policy

1. Pickups must be scheduled with our customer service department. Please contact customer service at 954-432-6826.

2. A confirmation of pickup date and time will be given.

3. Please notify Miami Direct Furniture of any cancellation 48 hrs prior to pickup to avoid a $40 restocking fee.

4. We recommend that you inspect all items before leaving our warehouse. Miami Direct Furniture will not be responsible for any damages once merchandise has been picked up.

5. You will be responsible to bring proper equipment and material required for safe loading and transportation of your items.

6. Miami Direct Furniture will not be responsible for any damages incurred due to incorrect or unsafe equipment or material used for transporting your items.

 Delivering to a Freight Forwarder

1. In order to ensure that your delivery is processed as quickly as possible; please contact us by calling 954-432-6826. Please indicate to the customer service representative that your order will be delivered to a freight forwarder. Additional delivery information maybe required to ensure accurate processing of your order. Additional delivery charges may apply to these order types based time frame and location for delivery.

2. This agreement is with you and Miami Direct Furniture. Neither Miami Direct Furniture nor the 3rd party Delivery Company that has been contracted by Miami Direct Furniture to perform the delivery will be held responsible if you decide to hire a 3rd party contractor or freight forwarder to accept, receive and sign for the receiving of items without the notations of visible defects of packaging, damaged items, or missing merchandise.

3. There is no Warranty Coverage on items being exported outside of the United States. Any claims for damages or missing items are on a case by case basis and a repair or placement option will be at the manufacturer's discretion only. Miami Direct Furniture will not be responsible for any additional fees that may apply including but not limited to freight , duty and transportation costs.

 

Shortage/Damaged Shipment

Export Delivery

1. All merchandises are packed carefully and correctly utilizing a double check method before it leaves our facility.

2. Damaged shipments should be checked in the presence of the carrier. Please keep all shipping cartons and packing material for carrier inspection.

3. Miami Direct Furniture will not initiate any claims with the carrier. Claims for shortage of items must be made within 3 weeks for delivery to carrier.

4. Claims of damaged shipments must be made by the customer with the carrier.

5. Items that are reported Short Shipped will be reordered and delivered to your freight forwarder free of charge after an investigation of original delivery has been completed.

6. Miami Direct Furniture will not be responsible for any additional fees that may apply including but not limited to freight , duty and transportation costs.

 

Residential Delivery

1. All merchandises are packed carefully and correctly utilizing a double check method before it leaves our facility.

2. We recommend to check all items while our delivery driver is still present. Any damaged or defective items found will be assessed by the delivery driver.

3. You have the right to refuse delivery of any damaged or defective item while the delivery driver is still present.

4. no refunds are available and sales cannot be cancelled once the merchandise has been delivered and accepted.

5. You will be responsible for the return of any damaged or defective items once our delivery drivers leave the premises.

6. A return authorization must be processed in order for any returns or exchanges of damaged or defective items to take place. Please contact customer service at 954-432-6826.

Errors will be corrected where discovered, and Miami Direct Furniture reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
